Hi-performance athlete training

With mulidiciplinary concepts, the mistakes in sports training ware reduced.
Professionals from different areas as physical training, medicine, nutrition,
psychology, exercise physiology , martial arts and others, nowadays not only
share information, but they also debate the best ways to reach the main goal,
to surpass limits.

For a good start a detailed mapping of the athlete is necessary, this is
obtained through different evaluations in the areas involved in the training,
such as physiological, clinical, psychological, nutricionais, physical and others.

The physiological evaluation brings important data as fast and slow
contraction fibe percentuals, amount of muscular potency in each specific
gesture of the sport, sanguine lactate concentration during the effort, hidric
losses during training and other fundamental data for good planning of
competition scedule.

Planning is the second step in high performance training. Factors such as
biological individuality, target competition dates, amount of training and its
different intensities can result in overtraining when not controlled. All this
can result in taking the athlete away from competitions, thus shortening his
career.
